They struggled in Campobasso, but in the second half they silenced the Molise side and earned a 1-1 draw that kept them in the playoff spot. Their second away point is worth a lot for the Sassari team, still hampered by injuries and players recently returning from injury. The all-rounder Masala replaced Pennington, who hadn't even started.

It got off to a difficult start, with Campobasso frequently providing passes to Brazilian Isaac-Prado, but Zaccagno had a remarkable night: in the 6th minute, he parried a shot from Bifulco, who was alone in the box; in the 26th minute, he forced the Brazilian wide and then blocked his shot; and in the 33rd minute, he forced Isaac-Prado into another errant shot.

Torres didn't sit idly by: in the 9th minute, Zecca's shot was stopped and turned, with a great save from the goalkeeper; in the 42nd minute, Scotto was held lightly, resulting in a futile penalty appeal; in the 45th minute, Scotto's thunderbolt was parried by Spurio, who then responded by rebounding from Zecca. There were many doubts about Corbo's goal, which pushed Kebbeh behind, but FVS couldn't convince the referee either.

In the second half, the equalizer came on a low cross from Mastinu that Celesia slid into her own net. Little else happened until the end.
