The taboo is broken. For the first time in its history, Torres wins the first two games at the start of the championship in the Third Series. The 2-1 win over Rimini was achieved thanks to a good recovery after a complicated first half. Double for Diakite (first goal from a penalty) which confirms the qualities shown last season.

Difficult first half for Torres who is unable to gain the initiative, in fact it is Rimini who are dangerous when they start again at speed. In the 19th minute, Gigli's free kick and header gave Rimini the lead.

The guests were close to doubling their lead again from a set piece: Zaccagno rejected Morra's very angled shot on the half hour mark.
