Another difficult first half for Cagliari, down 1-0 at half-time at Torino. Ché Adams scores immediately, then very few goal opportunities, none of which for the rossoblù.
First chance in the 4th minute, Karamoh enters the area from the left and his right-footed shot – very dangerous – is deflected by Zappa into a corner. But two minutes later the Granata take the lead: through ball from the right by Lazaro for Ricci, assist for Adams who controls and manages to shoot with the ball hitting the crossbar and going into the net .
The pace was anything but exciting, in fact after the initial bursts of fire from the Granata, little or nothing happened. To see an action from Cagliari, we had to wait until the 28th minute, a free kick from the right and a header from Mina. After half an hour Karamoh was freed centrally by a pass from Maripán that was pierced by the visiting defence, a low right-footer from the edge of the area and Caprile avoided the 2-0 .
The rossoblù goalkeeper has to intervene again in the 41st minute, when Pedersen receives the ball on the right and enters the area undisturbed: Caprile blocks his left foot . A minute passes and, on a deflected cross from Karamoh, Luperto doesn't clear it well but Caprile is next to him to save. And he does well again in the 44th minute, on a curling right foot from Karamoh that goes past Zappa.
