What do you think about wind farms? « Sardinia cannot live with this possible devastating invasion . I say a convinced, strong, decisive "no" to this incredible energy speculation that they are proposing to us. The Unione Sarda and the entire editorial group of Dr. Sergio Zuncheddu are doing well. His battle must be our battle, to be won, even all together: our beautiful island must absolutely be defended from these iron monsters , let's leave it as it is, with its archaeological sites, its vineyards, its sea».

Tore Angioni, artist-migrant , has lived for a long time in Settimo San Pietro. For years he has had a house in Villamar , as a young man he was one of the many students of Pinuccio Sciola . Always with Sardinia in his heart, even as an emigrant for work. An artist who has always worked mainly with clay, Angioni has created his works in Italy, Algeria, Romania where in the town of Ianca he also drew a mural.

Tore Angioni, has been living in Villamar for several years after leaving Pula and Settimo San Pietro. Today he is a pensioner, he still enjoys his art. In Algeria he made a sculpture about Sardinia emigrating. In Romania he was also with the actor Piercarlo Porru who organized some theater courses in schools.

"It was a great experience," says Angioni. "In Romania I met and became friends with the mayor of Ianca, Glicherie Stanciu. I also created a sculpture in the central square. A work, in stone, representing a father lying down with his son sitting on top and a monument dedicated to the heroes in war."

Previously Angioni had created four works in the sports field in Plopu, a small village in the Prahova district. Also in Romania, some murals in the municipality of Faurei. His sculptures today can also be found in Northern Italy and, of course, in Sardinia.

Angioni also loves cinema. He participated in the short film "Death before love (La morte prima dell'amore)" created by the association "Tra parola e musica". «Now that I'm of a certain age - says the artist from Settimo San Pietro - I like to remember the past, but also look to the future . What I've done abroad, I've done it thinking of my land. Now I hear talk of wind turbines, of photovoltaic systems that should cover vast expanses of our land, between plains, mountains and sea. Enough, we can't suffer this affront too».
