Todde's resignation for re-election? Campo largo denies it: "Political fantasy."

Governor Alessandra Todde herself has always denied the possibility of her resignation as a result of the forfeiture case involving her. Now, a string of denials is coming from the Regional Council, from Campo Largo members who, almost indignantly, reject this possibility, relaunched by "Roman voices" who speak of a deal reached between the leaders of the Democratic Party and the Five Star Movement to persuade the president to resign and then run again to try to win the regional elections again.
This strategy would also include a timeline for his resignation within the year, without waiting for the rulings, other than the Constitutional Court's judgment, which is expected in the next few hours.
"It seems like fantasy politics to me," said Democratic Party councilor Antonio Solinas. "We're convinced we're right, and I don't think Todde is thinking of resigning."
"These rumors are baseless," added Gianluca Mandas, "and I would also say they show little respect for the work of the Regional Council and the Executive Committee, which are working on important priorities."
A categorical denial of President Todde's possible resignation also came from her spokesperson.
