"A tombstone on decadence." This is what Regional President Alessandra Todde said regarding the Constitutional Court ruling that annulled the injunction issued by the Electoral Committee of the Court of Appeal of Cagliari.

After ten months of "feeling precarious," the governor declared at today's press conference that she had lifted not a stone, but a "boulder" from her shoes. Now, "our action can certainly have a broader scope; there's a great desire to change Sardinia."

This could also mean revising the composition of the Council, but, if so, "we'll only discuss it after the budget," so in January.

Todde intends to bring about a major shift in healthcare. Will this also lead to a change in councilor? "Beyond the people, we need to discuss what needs to be done. I've also spoken with the Democratic Party secretary about these issues. It's important for people to feel represented in a context of suffering where citizens don't feel adequately cared for. Our hospitals are home to many excellent institutions. In some cases, we operate in a context of great hostility and tension. I believe we need to pacify the healthcare system by giving those who know how to work the opportunity to do so properly and not in an emergency, and without fear of saying that some things aren't working and need to be reorganized."

Labor Councilor Desirè Manca is currently listening to the suffering in the hospital system. Is it possible that she might take over the Health Department, replacing Bartolazzi? "The Labor Councilor is focused on jobs. We shouldn't confuse the drive she's always had as a regional councilor, given that she's always been involved in these issues, with changes that aren't realistic."
