The panel presided over by Judge Gaetano Savona has withdrawn for the decision that could arrive within a few hours or in the next few days (the law allows 60 days) .
The hearing before the court has ended regarding the appeal presented by governor Alessandra Todde against the injunction order of the guarantee board that had sanctioned her to pay 40 thousand euros in addition to the transmission of the documents for the pronouncement of forfeiture to the Regional Council for alleged irregularities in the reporting of electoral expenses.
All parties ended the discussion by renewing their conclusions: Todde's defenders (Macciotta, Benedetto and Stefano Ballero and Siotto) reiterated to the judges the need to accept the appeal. The same conclusions were reached by the Public Prosecutor's Office.
The interventions of all the other lawyers present were brief, including the lawyer Riccardo Fercia, member of the guarantee board (who appeared in a personal capacity after being revoked by the guarantee board itself). Fercia confirmed the validity of the injunction order, reiterating that it is not possible to evaluate the expenses and funding obtained by the president in the electoral campaign.
At that point the panel presided over by Judge Gaetano Savona withdrew to make the decision.
