Minimal charges, maximum consequences. The dissolution of the Regional Council would be abnormal, in the event of a definitive declaration of forfeiture of the president Alessandra Todde, given the extent of the charges contested on the irregularities of the electoral reporting. This is the thesis of the councilors of the M5s and Pd groups, among the first to present the appeals in support of the one filed by the governor's lawyers against the injunction order issued by the guarantee panel of the Court of Appeal of Cagliari, notified on January 3.

"The decision of the college would have consequences for all the members of the Assembly", explains the leader of the Five Star Movement group Michele Ciusa, "therefore it would also violate one of our rights".

The appeals of the parties - those of Uniti per Todde, Orizzonte Comune and Avs are also being filed - support the line with which the president has raised the conflict of attributions with the State. on the 1993 rules governing the reporting of electoral campaigns.

"There is no proportion between the objections raised and the consequences, there is no respect for the electoral vote. Sending home the entire Council for administrative irregularities is disproportionate", reiterates Antonio Spano, a Sassari councilor for the Democrats.

On the opposite side, in support of the forfeiture order, the same guarantee board was formed, represented not by the State Attorney's Office but by the jurist Riccardo Fercia, and the secretary of the body, Daniela Montoni, as well as a private citizen, Salvatore Corrias, from Oliena.
