The Cocco-Motzo changeover at General Affairs was announced and therefore expected; the reshuffle—the real one—will come to fruition after the referendum. That is, after the truce signed by the Regional President and the Democratic Party expires following the rift over appointments to the Local Health Authorities.
The regional secretary of the Democrats had made it clear at the party's last leadership meeting: "After two years in office, it's right to stop and make a revision. If we want to improve the lives of Sardinians, we must have the courage to tell ourselves what works and what doesn't, and this revision must cover everything, without gray areas, without untouchables."
