The collegial hearing that will have to deal with the precautionary appeal presented by the lawyers of the president Alessandra Todde (Stefano and Benedetto Ballero, Giuseppe Macciotta and Priamo Siotto) on the effects of the injunction order of the regional electoral guarantee board has been set for March 20.
The panel of the civil court of Cagliari, presided over by judge Gaetano Savona, before addressing the merits of the appeal, has therefore decided to study with a simplified procedure the request to suspend the 40 thousand euro fine and the forfeiture order.
It is not yet clear whether the hearing will be public or in chambers: we will have to wait a few hours to find out.
On the day of the hearing, the judges could decide to rule on the request for a stay of execution, presented by Todde's lawyers, but they could also decide to delve into the merits of the case.
