World Radio Day is celebrated on February 13.

The international anniversary was proclaimed in 2011 by UNESCO and dates back to February 13, 1946 when the first UN radio broadcast was broadcast. Only in 2012, however, the United Nations will establish the World Radio Day.

A day that has a lot of Italian: it was in fact Guglielmo Marconi who patented the radio on March 5, 1896.

Years go by but still today this is the medium that allows you to reach a vast audience and is equipped with new devices, keeping up with technology.

In Cagliari there will be a special event at the Mediateca del Mediterraneo, also attended by Radiolina.
