Tina Turner has died at the age of 83 . His spokesman announced it.

«Tina Turner, the Queen of Rock'n Roll, passed away peacefully today at the age of 83 after a long illness at her home in Küsnacht near Zurich, Switzerland . With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model," the artist's rep wrote in a statement.

Born November 26, 1939 in Nutbush, Tennessee, born Anna Mae Bullock, she won 12 Grammys and sold over 180 million records in her career.
