Nick The Nightfly will open the 38th edition of Time in Jazz tomorrow at 6 pm on the lawn of the Puntaldia Golf Club. The festival, directed by Paolo Fresu, which this year embraces the theme of "What a Wonderful World," will begin again in a location that has been a defining feature of the previous two editions.

And it does so with the historic voice of Monte Carlo Nights and its refined project "My Favorite Things", kicking off nine days of music, cultural events – such as exhibitions, book presentations, and meetings with authors – and other activities throughout Gallura, centered in Berchidda and Piazza del Popolo, where the evening concerts will take place starting Monday, August 11, for a total of five unmissable events.

Many stars of 2025 will be performing: from Stefano Bollani to Enrico Rava and Paola Turci, the latter performing Saturday at L'Agnata to commemorate Fabrizio De André, to Trentemøller, Les Amazones d'Afrique, Danilo Rea and Simona Molinari, not to mention the trio Mare Nostrum, Ze in the Clouds, Svaneborg Kardyb, and many others. Including the host, Paolo Fresu.

In short, there's something for everyone. In the spirit of "What a Wonderful World," the title of this edition, which pays homage to the song made famous by Louis Armstrong in 1968. A hymn to beauty and hope, now more than ever. "We also like to think of the world as bright and beautiful to live in," says Fresu. "We believe that music and art have the power to transform it, to paint it in color: that's why we chose "What a Wonderful World" as the underlying theme, continuing the tradition of previous editions."
