The journey of the Porcu family from Sant'Antioco to Tunisia and then to France, a project that involves disabled people and the king of peacocks from one of Italo Calvino's fairy tales. The program proposed at the Astra theater in Sassari from tomorrow to Sunday is as varied as it is appetizing for the second edition of " Plays!" : end of summer festival, organized by the La botte e il cielo company.

We leave tomorrow at 8.30pm with  Traversée Traversata” by the company “ Il Mutamento” of Turin which will be repeated on Friday at the Stanze Bottega K center in Ossi. The work is a sort of poetic concert by and with Dimitri Porcu and Stefano Giaccone . At the center of the scene are two trunks containing dreams, words, images: one is from the Porcu family, who crosses the Mediterranean from Sant'Antioco to arrive in Tunisia and then in France. The Giaccone family, instead, leaves the factory city of Turin with their trunk for New York, crosses the Atlantic, and then lands in Sardinia.

On Saturday we return to the Astra in Sassari with the Seville collective Danza Mobile , which in its projects applies a method of welcoming, training and professionalizing people with disabilities. Piezas Cortas” will be screened, a mix of three short films that were made during performances at European festivals.   Thanks to the collaboration between the collective and La botte e il Cilindro   in the second half of October, the Sassari company will bring to Seville a Spanish version of Franco Enna 's classic: " The Mama's Cat ".

Closing on Sunday always at the Astra Theater but at 6pm with the show “Il re dei peaconi” by the Livorno company Pilar Ternera based on the Italian fairy tales by Italo Calvino. Directed by Francesco Cortoni with Silvia Lemmi, Marco Fiorentini and Francesco Cortoni.
