An acknowledgment assigned to it by the Fidapa Porto Torres section, on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary celebration of its foundation, currently chaired by Cristina Benenati. Having become a point of reference for many families and young people who experience drugs, Pina Mancheddu thanked the many people who supported her along her path, including the former mayor Giacomo Rum. «This area owes a lot to Pina, because she was the mother of many abandoned children - said the Fidapa members -, close to the weak and people in difficulty. Many carry it in their hearts".

The Fidapa initiative began on Sunday afternoon with the inauguration of the "Red Bench" in the Edmondo De Amicis square, in the presence of the national president of Fidapa BPW Italy Fiammetta Perrone, of the president of Fidapa District of Sardinia Maria Lucia Fancellu, of the president of the Cristina Benenati, the deputy mayor Simona Fois and the military authorities.

At the Palazzo del Marchese the history of the local section was retraced by the founding members Antonia Orlando, Sandra Conti, Patrizia Foddai and Rossella Masala. The event concluded with the donation ceremony of five televisions to be allocated to the Dialysis Service Centre , purchased with the proceeds from the “Navicula Turritana” event.
