The City of Loano National Award for Traditional Italian Music is the most prestigious award for traditional music in Italy, awarded every year to the best folk music production by a jury made up of over fifty specialized journalists and scholars.

That's why the third place obtained by the Sardinian trio is of great prestige The Balentes with "Inghirios". Especially since the Sardinian trio arrived on a par with one of the legendary voices of Naples: Peppe Barra (ex Nuova Compagnia Canto Popolare) who presented "Cipria e Caffè" .

Produced by S'ardmusic and distributed by EgeaMusic, "Inghirios", with the voices of Stefania Liori, Pamela Lorico and Federica Putzolu, tells in music stories of ancient knowledge that are lost in time. A recording project with a strong identity, underpinned by the extreme desire to preserve the ancient legends and rites of Sardinia.

In fact, each track on the disc represents a narration, a wave of voices and gestures, a cohesive set of sounds and harmonies. Together, the artists share and set to music popular stories enclosed in a single great story, an itinerary that changes voice and setting by intertwining different traditions and languages such as Tabarchino, Barbaricino and Campidanese.
