The Oristano edition of the Formula Kite world championship ends with a new champion and a reconfirmation.

Yesterday afternoon, in Torregrande, the French Theo De Ramecourt, 2019 European champion, won his first world title in his career. The American Daniela Moroz instead kept the crown, also worn in 2019 in Qatar, the last edition before the pandemic.

The regattas. The final day was also hard fought, and not without surprises, due to the shifts of the mistral wind that made it necessary to move the competition field in front of the beach several times.

Among men, De Ramecourt withstood the pressure of Axel Mazella and sealed an authoritarian week. If their duel was a foregone conclusion, the revelation of the last regattas was Riccardo Pianosi from Marche who, thanks to his placement in the last race, wore the bronze medal.

In the women's fleet, Moroz has not let down their guard and given the final touch to a championship that is always at the top. Behind her the British Ellie Aldridge, who had climbed the rankings during the final race of the fleet, and the French Lauriane Nolot, who at the last ousted her compatriot Poema Newland from the podium.
