Stories, stories and suggestions from the female world will animate "Stories of women... women and history", a theater festival organized by the Mezcla Intercultura association which this year is in its eighth edition. From Monday 17th to Sunday 23rd June between Sestu and Cagliari every evening the world of women will be on stage in 360 degrees, from the most beautiful and melancholic stories to the tragic heroines up to the female figures who have changed the course of history with their courage.

On Wednesday 19 June in Piazza Gandhi in Sestu two shows for families, “Lupus in fabula” by the Compagnie del Cocomero and followed by the puppets of “Con Gafas ya los locos” by the Spanish company Ludopuzzle with Toni Dimondi.

On Thursday 20 June at the Samsa space at 8pm Marco Zuin's film "Theatre only lives if it burns" will be screened, which tells the story of traveling theaters in Italy through the testimony of the Carraras, one of the last art families still in activity; The director and producer Andrea Mura will participate in the screening. This will be followed at 9pm by “Women (il tempo e il governo)”, a journey through words and music by Antas with Giacomo Casti, Alessia Farci and Matteo Sau among the female figures of Fabrizio De André.

From Friday 21 June the festival moves to Casa Saddi, in Cagliari: at 7pm the puppets of Toni Dimondi and Ludopuzzle again for the show “Kon Karma”, at 9pm we travel to the Sardinian Middle Ages with “Benedetta Judikissa di Càlari” and “Adelasia Judikissa di Torres” by La Fabbrica Iilluminata with Elena Pau written by Rossana Copez and accompanied by music by Roberto Deidda.

On Saturday at 9pm Fabio Marceddu brings to the stage "Alfonsina Panciavuota", a show by the Teatro Dallarmario with the direction and original music by Antonello Murgia and the collaboration on the dramaturgy of Francesco Niccolini, awarded at the Festival della Resistenza Teatro per la Memoria di Gattatico (Reggio Emilia ), the story of a life lived between poverty and abuse in a Sardinia affected by war.

Sunday 23 June at 8pm "Nel nome del padre", a courageous story of redemption in the darkest Sicily produced by Artisti Fuori Posto written and performed by Francesca Saba; the festival closes at 9.30pm with "Agata", a tragicomic show produced by Meridiano Zero and Compagnia Vaga with Laura Garau who will accompany us in a reflection on life, love and the destiny of the world.

Entrance to the shows hosted in Sestu is free; for events in Cagliari, entry is 3 euros for children's shows, 5 euros for other shows and 10 euros for the last event of the evening.
