Culture restarts from the suburbs with the second part of the 2021-2022 Season of “Teatro Senza Quartiere”. Organized by the Teatro del Segno at the TsE of Is Mirrionis, in Cagliari, it is dedicated to the opera singer and writer Gianluca Floris, who died prematurely.

In the spotlight artists such as Gianfranco Berardi (Ubu Award - best actor of 2018), Salvatore Della Villa, Fabio Marceddu (Ermo Colle 2021 Award), actor and director Stefano Ledda and the ensemble of Officina Acustica.

"Five shows on the bill between March and April between 20th century classics and contemporary texts that speak to the present and concern us closely", explains the artistic director, Stefano Ledda. "I think of Primo Levi's words, that warning has happened, so it can happen again 'today more timely than ever'.

The curtain opens on March 12 at 9 pm on "And then I saw a seagull", the theatrical concert by Officina Austica inspired by the works of the sculptor Gianni Salidu with texts by Anna Lisa Mameli and original music by Corrado Aragoni. The Teatro del Segno instead brings on stage "Il Sistema Periodico" by Primo Levi (19 and 20 March), with dramaturgy and direction by Stefano Ledda, protagonist on the notes of the sax by Juri Deidda. Spotlight on Salvatore Della Villa who proposes his version of "Il Grigio" by Giorgio Gaber and Sandro Luporini (26 and 27 March), then space for "Amleto Take Away" by and with Gianfranco Berardi and Gabriella Casolari (2 April) for an ironic fresco of the beautiful country between Shakespearean echoes. Finally, "FM and his double" by and with Fabio Marceddu (Teatro dallarmadio): an artist's autobiography between theatrical passion and the search for identity.

"An important project for the neighborhood and for the city", underlines the Councilor for Culture and Entertainment of the Municipality of Cagliari, Maria Dolores Picciau. Among the initiatives the "suspended ticket" and the competition for future theater critics "Veni, Vidi ... Scrissi", an Invitation to the Opera and the resumption of the project "Rovinarsi è un Gioco" with the show "GAP".
