The Solinas Prize celebrated its 40th anniversary, transforming La Maddalena into the capital of Italian screenwriting. This special edition saw the island become an open-air creative laboratory, a meeting place for emerging screenwriters, producers, directors, and critics, with the aim of innovating the audiovisual landscape and reaffirming the centrality of authors in the creative process. The Prize successfully combined talent promotion and local development through advanced training workshops and an inspiring pitching session while sailing to the island of Spargi. At the end of the multi-day event, the following awards were presented:

The Franco Solinas Award for Best Story went to Bambolina (original title: taca) by Daniela Mitta and Vittorio Antonacci; the Solinas Award for Documentary for Cinema, in collaboration with Apollo 11, went to Vita Interrupta (Il tempo sospeso) by Lorenzo Spinelli; the Solinas Experimenta Serie 2025 Award went to Partners in Crime (original title: Partner in Crime), by Marta Sanseverino, Diletta Dan and Elisa Carriero; and the Valentina Pedicini Development Grant went to Blue Girl (original title: Margherita), by Marta Pasqualini.

"In recent days, we've tried to rediscover the pleasure that lies in 'constructive and proactive conversation.' It wasn't easy, but we managed to build a genuine dialogue between authors and producers, far removed from complaints and technicalities, with the goal of putting the stories, those who write them, and those who create them back at the center," said Annamaria Granatello, president and director of the Solinas Prize.

Among the guests, in addition to the Jury, were Peppe Servillo, who, together with Pilar and guitarist Califano, thrilled the audience with the concert "To make the words heard - A tribute to De André," as well as Stefano Rulli, Pappi Corsicato, Monica Zapelli, Ippolita Di Majo, Cinzia TH Torrini, Gloria Malatesta, Silvia Napolitano, Riccardo Tozzi, Silvio Maselli, Fabrizio Mosca, Simonetta Amenta, Andrea Rocco (Director of the Sardinia Film Commission), representatives of Rai Fiction, Netflix, Rai Cultura, and many others.
The focus of the discussion was the conference "Writing in the Storm. Do Stories Still Have the Power to Touch the Heart?", hosted by over 160 industry professionals and 70 Jury members.

The awards ceremony was held at the Longodardo Cinema, preceded by a screening of Antonio Capuano's "The Island of Andrea," which opens in theaters on October 2nd. Presenting the awards, along with the competition juries, were Francesco Solinas, honorary president of the Award; Ilaria Portas, regional councilor for Public Education, Cultural Heritage, Information, Entertainment, and Sport; Federica Porcu, deputy mayor of the Municipality of La Maddalena; and Stefania Terrazzoni, councilor for Education of the Municipality of La Maddalena.
