Appointment with the great jazz for the billboard of the Bflat Jazz Festival, the review directed by Marco Tullio Coco now in its eighth edition.
The spotlight will be on the duo formed by one of the most famous Italian trumpet players at international level, Fabrizio Bosso, and by the virtuoso pianist and great personality, Julian Oliver Mazzariello, a tried and tested artistic couple who will perform at the Jazz club in Via del Pozzetto tonight at 22.
Bosso, instrumentalist with a sparkling technique, and Julian Oliver Mazzariello, pianist of great sensitivity, have jointly released an album entitled “Tandem”, which seals a union that began on stage but which transcends the rules of classic artistic collaborations.
In 17 years their relationship of fraternal friendship as well as the totally free approach to music have increased the partnership until they become one voice.
In the music they propose there is all their musical essence: a tangible and immediate essence, testifying to the fact that when their instruments cross, their souls do so too.
What emerges clearly between the notes is an intimate executive complicity which is reflected in a well-established interplay capable of unleashing considerable energy, both in the most lively and groovy songs, as well as in the ballads.
Each concert by the duo Bosso - Mazzariello is therefore a magical journey, in a mixture of tension and relaxation, imaginative improvisations, lyricism and pure energy, which inevitably captures the listener.
Access to the concert will be through a green pass and the 100% capacity of the available seats will guarantee compliance with all the health precautions in force for the containment of the spread of the infection from Covid-19.
