On February 14, under the patronage of the Lombardy Regional Council and the Order of Journalists of Lombardy, in collaboration with the Fondazione Colleggio della Guastalla Onlus, a special event will be held to honor the memory of ̀Carlotta Dessì, a young journalist originally from Cagliari, well known for having worked for important Italian television news outlets, who passed away prematurely at only 34 years old after a courageous battle against illness.

"Carlotta dedicated her life to journalism, leaving a deep mark in the hearts of those who knew her, both as a passionate professional and as a generous, irreducible and radiant person," reads a note. To concretely pass on her style and her journalistic spirit, the "Carlotta Dessì Scholarship" was established, a recognition of merit for a young talent from Milanese journalism schools. "A gesture that not only celebrates Carlotta's dedication, but reaffirms how quality, ethical and passionate journalism is an irreplaceable pillar of our society."

During the event, authoritative voices of the Italian journalistic scene will join together to remember Carlotta, her commitment and her passion. The presence of her family and her partner and colleague Fabrizio will be a testimony of how much this initiative is rooted in the desire to keep her example alive.
