Although technology has transformed the way we not only listen to music and spread information, it has not managed to silence that voice. 100 years have passed since the first broadcast on 6 October 1924 and the radio is still the protagonist of the lives of many people.
To celebrate the centenary of the birth of radio, the University of Cagliari , in collaboration with Confindustria Radio Televisioni (Crtv) , is organizing the " 100 years " event on Monday 20 May, at 9.30 am , in the Aula Magna Mario Carta of the Faculty of Engineering. and hear them. Radio's past, present and future ."
The event, moderated by the journalist Egidiangela Sechi , will also be live streamed on UnioneSarda.it starting from 9.30 am and will see the participation of Francesco Abate and Paola Pilia for Radiolina, and then other hosts and artists from local and national radio stations such as DJ Ringo , artistic director and speaker of Virgin Radio, Luca Piras and Luca Scanu of UniCa Radio. The proceedings were concluded by the intervention of Geppi Cucciari .
The guests will discuss with the students the present and past of radio, but also the new forms of language and the role that radio is taking on in the world of communication.
