The Dragons are back in the final phase of a World Cup that has been missing since 1958Ukraine's world dream fades, Wales goes to Qatar, winning the playoff final 1-0 in Cardiff and thus securing 13th and last place for the European national teams.
The only participation in the finals of the tournament dates back to 1958 for Wales. A huge party that contrasts with the tears and despair of the Ukrainians, supported by their many fans who came to Cardiff.
Among the most desperate is Andriy Yarmolenko, who in spite of himself decided the match in the 34th minute of the first half with an own goal, deflecting a free-kick from Bale into his own goal and sanctioning the sentence for his team. Bale himself, captain of Wales, reached his opponents under the Ukrainian cheering curve, applauding them and trying to comfort them.
He therefore decided 30 of the 32 participating teams, the eight groups are as follows.
