Martina Porcu is Miss Sardinia 2026: the twenty-year-old from Porto Torres , dancer and model, will represent the island in the next national stages of Miss Italy.

The girl won the most important regional sash of Miss Italia and Miss Social last night at the end of the grand final held in the evocative setting of Piazza Eleonora d'Arborea, in Oristano.

Her adventure began on February 7th with the first casting and then continued through selections, fashion shows and tests that Martina faced with increasing determination.

On June 1st, she had won second place in the semi-finals in Cagliari, while on August 1st, in Monserrato, she had won the Miss Framesi Sardegna sash, already securing access to the national pre-finals.

On the stage in Oristano she completed her regional journey, winning the most anticipated title and becoming Miss Sardinia 2026.

For Porto Torres, this is a particularly significant victory, as it allows the city to be represented in one of the most well-known national events.

She's been dancing since she was five years old, and it was through dance that she learned the value of discipline, perseverance, and daily commitment. For several years, she's also worked as a model, but her life isn't limited to performances and photoshoots, because her passion for animals has informed her university choices, leading her to study veterinary medicine. During the evening, Marcella Piano, organizer and presenter of the event, asked her to tell the audience in Piazza Eleonora about herself. Martina responded with simple, personal words, without construing an image different from who she feels:
" I'm Martina Porcu, I'm twenty years old and I live in Porto Torres. I've been dancing since I was five, and it has taught me the true value of the discipline . I've been modeling for a few years, but my passion for animals has guided my most important choices, leading me to study veterinary medicine . I'm participating in Miss Sardinia to tell my story, my passions, and my flaws. I'm here to see if the girl I've become has the courage to show herself for who she is, without filters."
