An iconic frontman, consigned to legend not only by art, but also by his tragic and premature death: and to commemorate the Joy Division singer again this year, Bohemien Eventi and Piovono Pietre will bring the twelfth edition of the " Ian Curtis Tribute " to Cueva Rock in Quartucciu this Saturday .

Starting at 9:30 pm , bands like Neila Invo from Naples, Ainu from Genoa, Loono from Villacidro with singer-songwriter Vanvera , Calcinacci from Cagliari and Dorsell from Cagliari, will take to the stage, with guest Giampy Guttuso of Gods of Gamble. DJ sets by Revenant and Venefica will close out an evening full of music and emotion.

Composed of Elettra Seguro , Valeria Formisano and Gennaro Campanile , the Neapolitan Neila Invo were formed in 2019, immediately characterized by darkwave and coldwave sounds, with glacial synths, deep bass and ethereal vocals, also evidenced by their debut " Alienation " (2022) released by Young And Cold Records . Ainu , on the other hand, hail from the Ligurian capital, and in 2024 they debuted for the cult label Subsound Records with the eponymous album , made of powerful soundscapes and maritime suggestions, with an inexorable pace between psychedelia and post-metal.

Loono will return with a new lineup , navigating the project through a blend of Italian alternative music, post-punk, and electro-pop. A worthy companion for their dystopian reflections will be fellow Italian Vanvera (aka Mauro Vacca ). Making its world premiere is the dream pop of Calcinacci , featuring Monica Mureddu , Marco Mancini , and Stefano Guzzetti , who are releasing their debut album, " Noi tre ," preceded by the single " Meteorite ." Rounding out the island bands are Dorsell : in a leaden, urban post-punk style, Luca Morgante , Gigi Moi , Pierpaolo Abis , and Kekko Testa will also bring some Joy Division songs to the Cueva, enhanced by the vocals of Giampy Guttuso .
