After the injunction, the strike on Friday 17 November was reduced from 8 to 4 hours in transport, from 9am to 1pm.

This was announced by the general secretary of the CGIL, Maurizio Landini, in a press conference together with the general secretary of the Uil, Pierpaolo Bombardieri.

«In this way – said Landini – we safeguard the workers who would have paid heavy fines» .

«Common sense, workers and citizens won. The right to strike is not questioned", the comment of the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini , after the tug of war with the unions.
