The news was in the air, but now it's official. The Italian Super Cup, in which the Italian champions of Inter and the winners of the Italian Cup of Juventus will face off, leaves Saudi Arabia.

The dry challenge that will award the title will take place on January 12 in Milan, at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium.

This was decided by today's Lega Council. In addition to San Siro there was Saudi Arabia, which had already hosted the 2018 and 2019 editions, in Jeddah and Riyadh.

Last year, due to a pandemic, the match was played at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia, where Juve beat Napoli 2-0. The last edition played in Milan dates back to 11 years ago, and brought well to Inter, who defeated Roma 3-1 in 2010.
