Promoting creative ferment, looking to young local talents. The " Start Prize ", a competition for artists between eighteen and thirty-five years old promoted by the Bartoli-Felter Foundation , concludes with a group exhibition dedicated to the twenty-three finalists : the inauguration is for Thursday 5th at the Temporary Storing of the Foundation, at via XXIX novembre 3 in Cagliari , where the works will remain on display until March 20th . On the opening day, the winners of each category will be announced, who will be awarded with a future solo exhibition, directed by the critic and curator Roberta Vanali .

Designed as a true launching pad for participants , this first edition of the Start Prize was created with the aim of identifying and supporting the island's new creative generations, focusing on visual experimentation . The competition jury , led by the president of the Ercole Bartoli Foundation, included Vanali herself, her colleague Alessandra Menesini , director and photographer Giovanni Coda , and gallery owner Chiara Manca , selecting from numerous nominations for the painting , photography , illustration, and graphics categories.

The twenty-three finalists, exhibited from tomorrow in the group exhibition – also curated by Vanali – are Sara Abad , Giuseppe Atzori , Fiore Cao , Giulia Desogus , Laura Desogus , Alessandra Fiori , Rita Gadau , Chiara Lafiut , Luca Loddo , Giuseppe Loi , Michela Masu , Rocco Meloni , Elettra Norfo , Simona Pes , Flavia Pili , Graziano Piredda , Alice Rambaldi , Danilo Schirru , Marco Secchi , Amirah Suboh , Luca Tuveri , Valeria Vavoom , Aurora Zandara .

Over the next two weeks, the Temporary Storing "open-air laboratory" will offer visitors an overview of the most recent trajectories and expressions of contemporary Sardinian art : a commitment that will also be reflected in the upcoming official catalogue of the event, to be produced in collaboration with The Social Gallery .
