The sixth edition of the Anglona PhotoContest, the photographic competition organized by the Sa Rundine Cooperative Society of Perfugas, has been announced.
"The main objective of this competition - explain the promoters - is to enhance the territory of Anglona, a region that boasts a rich environmental and historical-cultural heritage".
The photographs must be taken in the twelve municipalities of Anglona: Bulzi, Castelsardo, Chiaramonti, Erula, Laerru, Martis, Nulvi, Perfugas, Santa Maria Coghinas, Sedini, Tergu and Valledoria.
«Also this edition - the organizers continue - wants to direct the gaze towards the Cultural Heritage that characterizes the territory, both the one made up of the many sites that attest to the millenary roots of Anglona such as the petrified forests, the nuraghes, the sacred wells, the domus de janas; both the traditions that are renewed from year to year, through a variety of events such as traditional and rural festivals, Holy Week rites and other celebrations».
The theme of this edition will concern the cultural fabric of the territory. There will be five thematic sections: drone and aerial photography, portraiture, archeology and architecture, landscape. Participants must send five photographs by 15 October to the e-mail address info@sarundine.com, via WeTransfer, with the title and name of the author.
