After a successful seminar on "Music for Film" with Luigi Frassetto, the previews of the Tavolara Film Festival "A Night in Italy" continue with the screening of "Némos. Andando per mare."

Marco Antonio Pani's film will be screened on Sunday, June 21st at 9:00 PM at the Mario Ceroli Amphitheater in Porto Rotondo. The screening, which is free and subject to availability, will be attended by the director and the organizers of the event, sponsored by the Argonauti Association, who will introduce the film, a Sardinian reinterpretation of the myth of Ulysses.

Performed entirely in Sardinian by non-professional actors, "Némos. Andando per mare" tells the story of Giovanni, a shepherd who falls asleep in the audience during an improvisational poetry contest inspired by the adventures of Ulysses, only to find himself in a dream the protagonist of an imaginary journey, of which he becomes the Hero. Through this sort of magic, Pani reenacts Ulysses's narrative in contemporary Sardinia, incorporating seascapes, Mediterranean memories, literary references, and a play of reflections that restores the myth to a form both archaic and contemporary.

The screening of "Némos. Andando per mare" is the second preview event of the 36th Tavolara Film Festival, which will take place from July 14th to 19th in San Teodoro, Porto San Paolo, and the island of Tavolara. The program will be revealed at the conclusion of the first round of events, culminating on June 27th in Porto San Paolo with the film-concert "Metropolis."
