He was one of the best-known representatives of Spatialism, founded by Lucio Fontana, but the Sassari-born artist's research went even further, just as his fame crossed the Italian borders to land above all in France and England, and even in New York , a city that hosted one of his solo exhibitions in 2015. Now a work by Pinos Manos returns to his Sassari: on Saturday 7 October at 6pm it will be presented in the national art gallery "Spazio estroflexo rosso". Entrance to the event is free.

The director of the Pinacoteca Maria Paola Dettori will illustrate the large canvas and the figure of Manos in the contemporary artistic panorama. The artist's wife, Paola Porta Manos, will be present and will talk about the human and spiritual aspects seen and experienced during their thirty-year union (1990-2020).

The donation of the "Spazio estroflexo rosso" to the National Art Gallery adds to the other important works by Costantino Nivola and Maria Lai recently acquired.
