Another recognition for the film Goppà, directed by Roberto Pili and produced by Francesco Pili: the Sardinian director's work was named best short film in the Best Italian Short Film category at the monthly edition of the SamhainBaucogna International Film Festival (SBIFest) - Monthly Competition 2025, a competition that every month brings together works from all over the world.

The journey doesn't stop there: among the winners of the monthly competitions, some titles will be selected to participate in the Grand Finale, which will be held in November 2025 in Vila Real de Santo António, Portugal. On that occasion, the finalist works will be screened to the public over a three-day festival.

Goppà is a powerfully dramatic short film in the Sardinian language, telling the story of the reunion of two old friends linked by a criminal past: Giuse (played by Giuseppe Ungari) and Paolo (played by Pierpaolo Massa), a veteran of twenty years in prison, who returns to Cagliari to see his former friend. Their reunion reopens old wounds and leads to a surprising epilogue. The cast is rounded out by Valter Coculo as Valter. The music is by DJ Ice One.
