Four events celebrating classical music, from yesterday to today: from March 6th to 27th , Palazzo Siotto , in Cagliari at Via dei Genovesi 114 , will once again host " Le Salon de Musique ." In a new edition of the historic festival conceived by pianist Irma Toudjian , the performances scheduled every Friday at 8 pm will range from musical theater, oriental sounds, avant-garde, and Romantic masterpieces.

Tomorrow, the "Salon" will debut with " 10.958 - Chronicle of an Accelerated Extinction ": created by the Cinque-T troupe, composed of writers and performers Cinzia Baccinelli , Vittoria Nicita , and Anna-Lou Toudjian , the show premiered last year in Bologna, centering on a lecture accompanied by music by Arnaldo Pontis . The meeting of three women, united by concerns about the future of humanity, explores their relationship with current events and history in an intertwining of stories, woven together by electronic soundtracks.

The festival will continue on March 13th with the Near Eastern influences of maestro Georges Daccache , a Franco-Lebanese pianist and professor at the Paris Conservatory, in his dedication to the great Lebanese composers of " Ô Féminin ." On Friday the 20th , fellow pianist Arturo Stàlteri —famous for his music on Radio 3 's morning slot—will present his upcoming album " Celestial Awakening " to the public in the capital, which also includes scores by Philip Glass and Battiato . This edition will conclude with the virtuoso duo of Fabio Mureddu (cello) and Michele Nurchis (piano), reworking Chopin and Franck Sonatas in a performance entitled " Chiaroscuri romantici ."
