The rise of Andrea Arru; the 16-year-old from Ploaghe stars in Diabolik 3 and on Netflix with the second series of “Di4ri”

Italy's most sought-after teenage actor is undoubtedly Andrea Arru . Job offers continue to pour in for the sixteen-year-old from Ploaghe and in 2023 he will be the protagonist in three productions.

One premiered tonight at the Giffoni Film Festival: it is the second season of “Di4ri”, the series for girls and boys launched by Netflix last year all over the world with excellent results . In September Andrea, in the role of Pietro, will be on the Netflix platform. The second season will tell the adventures of Pietro and his classmates in the last year of middle school.

From 26 October, however , the third chapter dedicated to Diabolik , the thief in black tights created by the Giussani sisters, will be screened in Italian and US cinemas. Title of the Manetti brothers' film "Diabolik-Who are you?" which will also talk about when the man with a thousand faces was a boy and the role will be played by Andrea Arru .

The third production, on the other hand, is top secret.

It should be remembered that the very young Ploaghese actor has already starred in the award-winning film "Glassboy" (2020) by Samuele Rossi and in the Canale 5 fiction "Storia di una famiglia perbene" (2021).
