George Russell, at the wheel of the Mercedes, won the Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix. The British driver preceded his teammate and compatriot Lewis Hamilton by 1''529.
On the third step of the podium was the Ferrari of Carlo Sainz, over 4 seconds behind. Fourth Charles Leclerc, fifth the Alpine of Fernando Alonso.
Bad day for the Red Bulls, sixth and seventh with the former world champion Max Verstappen who preceded Sergio Perez.
Eighth for the French Esteban Ocon (Alpine), ninth for the Alfa Romeo of Valtteri Bottas and tenth for the Aston Martin of Lance Stroll.
"One of the best weeks of my life," said Hamilton, who also won seven world titles but this year - due to Mercedes' difficulties - has never managed to establish himself.
