Next year, 2024, could be the good year for the return of the “Cuglieri-La Madonnina” car hill climb , after 15 years of absence. This was announced by the commissioner of the Aci of Oristano and president of the Aci of Sassari Giulio Pes di San Vittorio who had a conversation with the Municipality of Cuglieri: «We had a conversation with the municipal administration, and started the whole process to be able to include the race in the 2024 calendar: I am sure that the Sardinia Region will accept this invitation, to propose again after years of absence what is the main race of the Aci of Oristano". In the past it has seen champions of the caliber of Ezio Baribbi, Benny Rosolia, and the Sardinians Uccio Magliona, Marco Satta and Sergio Farris race through the challenging hairpin bends of Montiferru and win.

Other important initiatives for the relaunch of the Oristano Automobile club are: the Automobile club membership campaign, with the aim of doubling the thousand members and bringing them to the levels of the other clubs on the island. Therefore the collaboration with schools to promote safe driving courses for students, promote initiatives to reduce accidents on the roads, and organize a new edition in Oristano of the "Wheels in History" event, a rally and parade of historic cars, and finally propose again the Ales-Morgongiori car slalom.

« Oristano must return to the center of sporting activities in Sardinia also due to its central position . We think that in Tramatza there is a racetrack tested by the national ACI", adds Pes di San Vittorio.

Meanwhile, on November 8th, at 6 pm in Oristano, the meeting of all the organizers of automotive sporting events will take place to prepare the regional calendar of sporting events for 2024. There are around forty appointments for the new season.
