One, the president, could not be appointed because the assignment of that role is not the responsibility of the Board. The other, the member of the Board of Directors, could not be designated because she already held an incompatible role.

The new course in the era of the Campo largo of the Sardegna Film Commission, the regional Foundation that has the "aim of enhancing the artistic and environmental heritage of Sardinia, developing the audiovisual sector with the high specialization of professional and technical resources, creating the optimal conditions to attract international cinematographic and audiovisual projects, promoting the island in the world", does not start in the best way.

The mini-mess emerges from two resolutions of the Regional Council led by Alessandra Todde. The first is from July 24: with the provision the new board of directors of the institution was appointed. The second, recently made public, is dated September 25: the executive takes up the previous act and dismantles some pieces, because it was wrong.

In the middle of summer it was decided to place at the helm of the Foundation a Board of Directors composed of Giuseppina Sanna (with the role of president), Cristian Mereu, Giulia Simi, Maria Rossana Rubiu and Giuliana Altea.

But the regional councilor for Culture, Ilaria Portas, two months later announced that "the role of president was attributed to one of the members, while such designation, according to the Foundation's Statute, is up to the Board of Directors, and that therefore the resolution must be rectified first of all on this point".

Having detected the first error, another one emerged from checks on the assigned tasks. Because after the appointments, " the offices proceeded to request declarations of non-existence of causes of incompatibility and ineligibility from all the designated members, in order to proceed with the appointment by the General Council of the Foundation". And it emerged that for one member, Giuliana Altea, "the problem of ineligibility, in consideration of the fact that she is president of the Costantino Nivola Foundation, a "private law entity under public control"".

So, in the end: the new resolution revokes the assignment of the presidency and the nomination of Altea: Margherita Puledda takes her place. All is well now, unless other checks bring out other problems.
