The "Note senza tempo" International Early Music Festival debuts in Porto Torres during the "Festha Manna" festival. This first edition is tied to tradition and historical allure, which the Dolci Accenti association has chosen to pay homage to through Baroque music.

On Saturday, May 23rd, at 6:00 PM, in the Sala Filippo Canu, the free opening concert will feature the prestigious Spanish guests of the Accademia del Festival de Musica de Caimari, who will bring to the stage a trio of extraordinary performers: Tomeu Seguì Campins on harpsichord, Daniele Cernuto as tenor, and Calogero Sportato on archlute, theorbo, and baroque and Spanish guitars. The show will offer a fascinating musical journey spanning the late 16th and early 17th centuries, exploring the universal theme of love through instrumental and vocal pieces.

The timbral variety offered by the dialogue between the harpsichord and various plucked instruments (theorbo and archlute) will create timeless impressions through the authentic sounds of the period. The program will alternate pieces from the great harpsichord literature with splendid vocal arias and cantatas from the High Baroque, characterized by recitative and arioso forms that anticipate lyric opera. Among the most anticipated moments is the performance of the famous Frescobalda, which Girolamo Frescobaldi dedicated to himself, as well as music by Luigi Rossi, Antonio Cavazzoni, and Gianni Stefani.

A true rediscovery will be the performance of rarely performed composers such as Cesare Netti, whose rare gem, the famous cantata L'innamorato, will be revived. The festival's schedule will continue, bringing churches and historic monuments across Northern Sardinia to life. On May 29th and 30th, the Galan Academy, together with the SYEMFed Early Music Youth Orchestra & Academies Festival, will present young talents born from their teaching and outreach activities in Porto Torres and Sassari. On June 6th, the festival makes its debut in Alghero, the Catalan city, with the Benedetto Marcello Ensemble. On July 4th, the festival moves to Castelsardo, where the Amoris Laetitia ensemble will perform.

On September 4th and 5th, in Sassari and Uri, the Dolci Accenti association presents the Orfeo Futuro project. On October 4th, again in Sassari, the sounds of the Baroque Lumina Ensemble take center stage. On November 14th, again in Sassari, the grand finale of the festival will feature the prestigious participation of the Polifonica Santa Cecilia. The event, under the artistic direction of Daniele Cernuto, has established itself as an international cultural landmark and is part of the prestigious "Salude&Trigu" network (8th edition) of the Sassari Chamber of Commerce. "Note senza tempo" is organized by Dolci Accenti with the patronage and support of the Region and the Fondazione di Sardegna, and the municipalities of Sassari, Porto Torres, Alghero, Uri, and Castelsardo.
