On Saturday at 8:30 pm, the Don Bosco church on Via Washington in Sassari will host a concert by the “Pietro Allori” Youth Choir of the Polifonica Santa Cecilia, directed by Alessio Manca.

During the evening, several instrumental pieces will be performed on the guitar by Gabriele Loriga, a member of the Polifonica choir. The instrumental pieces will include Laurencinnus Romanus's (1550-1608) "Praeludium Fantasia," Francesco da Milano's (1497-1543) "Ricercare LI e I," Marco dall'Aquila's (1480-1544) "Fantasia III," and Girolamo Frescobaldi's (1583-1643) "Toccata for Spinet Solo, Over Lute" and "Aria con variazioni de La Frescobalda." And then again Gregoriano (“Ave Maria”), “Missa O Regem Coeli” “Kyrie” “Sanctus-Benedictus” “Agnus Dei I and II” “Super Flumina Babylonius” “Sicut Cervus” part one, “Sitivit Anima Mea” part two “Surge Propera” and “Caro Mea” by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina (1525-1594).

the third appointment with the "Il Filo Rosso" series organized by the Polifonica Santa Cecilia of Sassari under the artistic direction of Matteo Taras.
