Porto Cervo is preparing to welcome the Neri per caso. The ensemble of six virtuosos will perform Monday at 10 p.m. in the central square, hosted by the Consorzio Costa Smeralda.

The a cappella group, which has enjoyed a successful career for 30 years with breathtaking concerts featuring the skill of a group of artists and musicians who use no instrumental support or backing tracks, and whose originality has made them known even abroad, will be the protagonist of another prestigious event following concerts by Irene Grandi, Ermal Meta, Collage, Francesco Gabbani, and Michele Zarrillo.

After debuting in Salerno's clubs, Neri per caso gained national prominence by participating in Sanremo Giovani in 1994 with the song "Donne di Zucchero." They then qualified for the "Newcomers" section of the 1995 Sanremo Music Festival, where they won with the song "Le ragazze," written by Claudio Mattone and performed a cappella. With "Mai più sola," by Claudio Mattone, they returned to Sanremo and placed fifth in the "Big" section the following year.

She has released around ten studio albums, releasing countless unforgettable hits and notable collaborations with artists such as Loredana Bertè, Ornella Vanoni, Mietta, and Mia Martini in a posthumous duet, as well as Dolcenera, Giusy Ferreri, Noemi, Alessandra Amoroso, and Karima, all of whom appeared on her album "Donne," and international greats such as Alicia Keys, Dionne Worwick, Randy Crawford, and Chaka Khan, not to mention Renato Zero and her 2018 appearance at Sanremo Music Festival, for a duet with Elio e le Storie Tese ("Arrivedorci"). Admission to the Porto Cervo concert is free.
