A warm breeze of jazz on the cold January evenings, which will continue for the rest of 2026 in the heart of the city center: with the new year has also arrived a new season of " Jazz Alarm ", a weekly festival with ever-changing guests based at the Radio X Social Club at Via San Lucifero 71 in Cagliari . From today and every Thursday in January and beyond , starting at 8:30 pm , the club's "Basement" will be the scene of jazz concerts and jam sessions open to musicians in the audience, with a total of fifty events planned between now and the end of the year, featuring as many as fifty artists and projects .

Each event will be free to attend, with the opening concerts broadcast live on Radio X, where the projects being performed will also be introduced and discussed. Each live performance will last approximately an hour, with jam sessions from 9:30 PM until midnight, offering ample audience engagement, a feat already seen on numerous occasions.

It starts this evening, January 8th , with the Special 4tet of Sandro Angiolini – already part of the Angiolini Bros Quartet – which also includes Marco Morandini , Giulio Pisu and Gianrico Manca , and continues on January 15th with the Trio of Alessandro di Liberto , completed by Matteo Marongiu and again by Gianrico Manca. The second half of January will then see the Guendalina Anichini 4tet for the evening of the 22nd , closing on Thursday the 29th with the Trio of Morandini , with the presence here too of Marongiu and the addition of Francesco Merenda .
