The famous photograph of the "Little Girl with the suitcase", the official poster of the Day of Remembrance, was the protagonist of the Sanremo Festival last night. The Egea Museum of Fertilia, which houses the original donated by Egea Haffner, has granted Rai1 the release for the use of the symbolic image of the Foibe tragedy.

Egea Haffner has in fact donated to the museum that bears her name the original copy of the photograph depicting her as a child with a suitcase in her hand. Born in Pula in 1941, as a very small Egea she saw almost all of the 30 thousand inhabitants of her city flee, forced by the persecutions of Tito, who was determined to erase the Italian identity from the Julian lands.

An indelible memory that is told in a delicate and simple way even in the last book written together with Gigliola Alvisi. On the fourth evening of the musical festival, Amadeus read a painful page.
