The initiative, which was held between Rabat and Casablanca, aimed to attract students from abroad to the main Italian universities and institutes of higher education, providing information, promotional material and putting potential students in contact with teachers and students of the institutions Italian. In three days there were over twenty thousand visitors.

The “Canepa” of Sassari was the only Italian Conservatory present at the International Student Forum, the great event organized by the Uni-Italia Association in Morocco last weekend.

The Sassari Conservatory was present in Morocco with the president Ivano Iai, the professor delegate for International Relations Mauro Masala and the representatives of the Student Council Eleonora Pili, Stefano Melis Sechi and Federica Piu, in a mission coordinated with the director Mariano Meloni. The students of the Conservatory themselves maintained relationships with the interested young people, conversing in English and French and demonstrating great communication and artistic skills during the event.

The Italian delegation included, together with "Canepa", the most prestigious Italian universities, including "Bocconi", IULM and the University of Milan, the universities of Turin, Pisa, Pavia, Brescia, Genoa, Padua, Messina and the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin.

The Conservatory's mission has created the conditions to establish relationships with the most important Moroccan institutions , as demonstrated by the meetings of the Iai president with the local authorities, first of all the Italian ambassador in Rabat Armando Barucco and the leaders of the Fondation Ténor pour la Culture in Casablanca, the main musical institution of the North African country.
