He was a spokesperson for the Progressives, but "for months and months" he no longer represents them. Gianfranco Satta must no longer be the regional councilor for Agriculture. And he must leave the government quickly: "The agreement on the timing is crucial."
The vote of no confidence came officially, with a statement signed by the executive of Massimo Zedda's party, Luciano Uras and Francesco Agus.
"The Progressives," it reads, "reaffirm their desire to participate in the regional government and share its responsibilities. For this reason, they reaffirm their desire to support and strengthen the administrative action of the Region, which with their political and electoral contributions," it emphasizes, "they have won back for the Democratic Party."
"A discussion with the regional government has already been initiated," so the message to President Alessandra Todde has been clearly sent. "An agreement on the timing is crucial to reaching a solution," the statement reads. "The current Agriculture Councilor has no longer represented progressives in the regional government for months."
