The "villagers" together with the groups in traditional costume of the Etnos and Intragnas associations accompany the Santi Martiri Turritani on the way to the small church of Balai Vicino. The village women dressed in black wear particularly fine clothes, with the original skirts dating back to the last century.

"Celebrating the feast of the Martyrs is a way for us to gather in prayer and convince ourselves that their martyrdom has enabled this community to overcome the many difficulties". So Monsignor Salvatore Masia during the religious ceremony.

The procession then left from the Basilica of San Gavino in Porto Torres to celebrate the journey of faith of Gavino, Proto and Gianurio, patron saints of the city, honored for their sacrifice. A long procession made up of the flag committees, the Intragnas and Etnos cultural associations with the figures in traditional costume, together with the village women who dressed in original clothes accompanied the three saints.

The civil and military authorities, the mayor Massimo Mulas and the parish priests of the diocese were present together with an immense crowd of faithful who will follow the procession until the arrival in the small church of Balai Vicino. It is precisely in this evocative place of worship that the wooden statues of the martyrs will stand until the day of Pentecost. The following Monday, the day of the Festha Manna, they will return in procession to the basilica of San Gavino.
