The story and then the creation of a Mother Goddess in clay. On Friday 4 August from 9 am the archaeological area of the altar of Monte d'Accoddi will host the experiential laboratory of clay manipulation "Discovering the Mother Goddess" curated by the artist Stefania Spanedda.

The initiative is proposed by the association of collective Messy labs of ceramics aps in collaboration with the Municipality of Sassari and with the regional directorate of Sardinia Museums.

In the initial storytelling, the artist Stefania Spanedda will propose an interesting interpretation of the precious heritage of Paleolithic Venuses or Mother Goddesses found in Sardinia but also in the European area, in North Africa and in the Near East. Through the skillful use of the hands and the manipulation of the earth, each participant will be able to spontaneously and intuitively create their own concrete archetypal Mother.

The workshop, free and lasting 2 hours, has a maximum of 35 participants.
