Perhaps it is not an exaggeration to use the word "Triumphs" which is the title of the triptych composed by Carl Orf in the 1930s. Certainly the "Carmina Burana" have been able to conquer the public of Piazza d'Italia in Sassari, both the paying ones inside the enclosure and the ones crowded outside the barriers.

The very well-known song "O Fortuna", often used in the cinema, was the one proposed for the acclaimed encore after a very long applause, but the other songs that with musical variety celebrate Spring, life in the "taberna", the tavern and sensual love also surprised.

On stage 200 orchestral and choir members of the de Carolis organization reinforced by the Friuli Venezia Giulia choir, all directed effectively by Francesca Tosi.
