“ Chimera ” is a sonic apparition, taking shape through voice, hands, intentions, connections, and imagined sounds, fused together, and presented to the audience by the project's creator Matteo Pastorino (clarinets, electronics), Francesca Palamidessi (vocals, Italian lyrics, electronics), Federico Casagrande (guitar, electronics), and Armando Luongo (drums, electronics). The event is scheduled for Saturday at 9:30 pm on the stage of the TD Lemon - Social Club , Strada No. 22 , Predda Niedda area of Sassari .
"Chimera," an original production by Insulae Lab - Jazz Music Production Center (artistic director Paolo Fresu ), intertwines the creativity of Pastorino, Francesca, Casagrande, and Luongo. Instruments and voices will be manipulated in real time, shaping a dialogue between the natural and the artificial: spatial reverbs, deconstructed delays , vocal harmonies, and electronic textures will transform traditional sounds into fluid and unpredictable landscapes.
As in the composite, visionary and multifaceted essence of this figure of Mediterranean mythology, it will be a dreamlike journey among the notes, in which the illogical will become structure.
