In the name of Carlo Valle, the actor who passed away a month ago. The XVII "October in Poetry" Festival ended on Sunday, bringing poetry to the squares and among the people of Sestu, Cagliari, Alghero, Tissi and Sassari. Among the guests are the Colombian poet Angye Gaona, the worker poet Ferruccio Brugnaro, the curator of the traveling poetic series of the Thauma editions, Andrea Garbin, the director of the Pinerolo civic library and the adjoining Poeteca, GianPiero Casagrande, the writers Antonella Iaschi and Gisella Blanco , and the creator and artistic director of the festival Leonardo Onida.
«Art and poetry bring together people, beautiful ones, and Carlo was one of these – recalled Leonardo Onida with emotion -. Today we laid the first brick to start building a house of art dedicated to him. During the final evening held at the Tavolara pavilion in Sassari, the first funds were raised for the establishment of a Foundation dedicated to the artist.
The “Poetry of the soul” event in which many friends of the artist participated, was enriched by the poetic and musical tribute “You can find me in the Navigli… and everywhere” dedicated to the poetry of Alda Merini, a show by Leonardo Onida with Giovanni Sanna Passino, Simone Faedda and Stefano Cossu, embellished with the unpublished texts "The talent" and "I'm crazy, not stupid", written by the actor Carlo Valle.
